Miss Frontier Days Pageant

 

 

Open to babies, tots, girls, and women of all ages who live in Tecumseh or attend Tecumseh Schools. Pageant attire recommended but "Sunday Best" is acceptable. Pageant dress attire is for your interpretation. All pageant participants ages 3 years and up should have a 2nd outfit that can be the participant's interpretation of "western wear."

 

 

Divisions:

Tiny Miss Frontier Days

  • Ages 0 months - 2 years
  • Caregiver helps them complete modeling across the stage.

 

 

Tot Miss Frontier Days 

  • Ages 3 - 7 years
  • Caregiver MUST stay with child and help them backstage.
  • They walk the stage independently
  • Will need Western Wear and will learn accompanied dance routine.

 

 Junior Miss Frontier Days 

  • Ages 8 - 12 years
  • Has private interview with judges. Please review study sheet & tips found here.
  • May have caregiver assist backstage if desired but not required.
  • Modeling walk on stage.
  • Two minute speech on a famous Oklahoman
  • Will need Western Wear and will learn accompanied dance routine.

 

Miss Frontier Days 

  • Ages 13-18 years
  • Has private interview with judges. Please review study sheet & tips found here.
  • May have caregiver assist backstage if desired but not required.
  • Modeling walk on stage.
  • Two minute speech "Why I'm Proud to Be an Oklahoman."
  • Will need Western Wear and will learn accompanied dance routine.

 

 Royal Miss Frontier Days 

  • Ages 19+ years
  • Has private interview with judges. Please review study sheet & tips found here.
  • May have assistant backstage if desired but not required.
  • Modeling walk on stage.
  • Two minute speech explaining their reason for wanting to represent Tecumseh to display their "hometown pride."
  • Will need Western Wear and will learn accompanied dance routine.

 

All participants are required to attend all rehearsals and events within their age division which could include: speech rehearsal, western wear & dance rehearsal, interviews and quiz, pageant dress rehersal, pageant day, and the current year Frontier Days parade.

Winners of the Junior Miss, Miss, and Royal Miss Frontier Days MUST fulfill additional volunteer, service, and civic duties throughout the year for various organizations when applicable. Ample notification will be given.

Rehearsals and interviews will be conducted at the Broadway Chapel Church located at 204 S. Broadway St. Tecumseh, OK.

The dress rehearsal and official pageant will be conduted at Tecumseh City Hall Auditorium.

Pageant starts at 3pm sharp on Sunday, September 11th. 

Frontier Days Parade will be held on September 17th at 10am. Participants will need to line up by 9:30am.
